How many 2003 & 2002s go from all the clubs? I know of only one 2003 (BSC) who was invited to the SoCal Elite Pro Perfomance event run by U.S. Soccer.

My point is not many go anyway so why pick on Thusc? The BSC girl is going to the.elite SoCal event run by U.S. Soccer but doesn't go to U.S. Training Center monthly trainings? You have BSC listed as 0...

I don't know. They all must be amazing. The ones I know said they are getting full rides to Stanford, UCLA & Notre Dame and are basically guaranteed National team from U14 onward. So nice for those girls that made it.

Maybe Bend should do something about their player development so they can keep up.

Why the expectation that FCP parents show more class than, say, Eastside parents? Are you saying that FCP parents are part of a "higher" class in society?

I believe Bend has some great coaches. If this is a true statement then it is a testament to development, and a nod to development over wins. At the end of all this if your daughters wants to play at the next level it is about her skill level, not the team they play for. ECNL starts next year. Go Bend!!

Go Bend!! You have to admit, Bend produces quite a few good players considering their size. Also no arguing that they have some great coaches.

Their size? The 2013 estimate size of Bend was like 85k. They are the only club for hours in any direction, so you can damn near double that population. It's the same reason Eugene has good teams or gets a couple of D1 players every year.... They are the only game in town. Compared to how many clubs on say the westside of Portland? Westside, BSC, FC Portland, Thusc, Westside T/S, WUSC, L.O, F.G. vikings, HSC, Aloha, etc. The list goes on and on the further down the skill level you chose to end at.

They could have ****ty or great coaches, doesn't matter.
