Isn't THUSC in third. Next year with WUSC and LOSC coming CU will be strong.

I'm neither, just someone who thinks TT can play with either team, no problem, esp FCP. You have failed to beat anyone but Bend by more than 1 goal, so I'd say that any of your wins could go the other way on the return leg, I'll be surprised to see you at the top come Nov. WS at least has some clear and decisive wins.

10/25, I would think WST puts them away no problem. Like I said, they have some convincing wins, FCP doesn't.

Could be worth the watch just to see how many cards are shown.

I know, Baby, the truth stings. Your DD's team is 3rd or 4th best, you'll get over it.

If the team is losing 9-3 now, things are going to get REALLY ugly next year. It seems the local ECNL teams don't fully get this ECNL thingy. You see, you have to be competitive at U11-U13 locally and showing improvement each year so that you hit U14 running and with a team that has a number of players who have played together. You can't hit U14 praying that a bunch of players come over from other teams to help you get competitive. One, that might not happen and Two, you don't want to be integrating all of those players in a year where you are expected to be competitive. ECNL doesn't want you to get to competitivness as a team at U16 or U17. They expect it at U14. Teams will have losing records and ECNL knows this, but they don't want teams who have losing records and -60 GD after 10 games. If you are getting crushed game after game, then you are negating many of the benefits that ECNL is supposed to provide. You don't get better with a bunch of 9-3 losses. You get a demoralized team is what you get.
I think what you may fail to realize is your about to lose all your quality players to ECNL at U14. One of us is in the dark here and if you wanna know who? Look in the mirror.

Oregon ECNL is getting stronger. Watch the results this year. The only way we as a collective group get better is to get out of our cozy confident little confines. Thorns Academy is a good option for some, but the best will do ECNL and I think the parents of the best know this.

Once again ECNL highjacking this thread. Oh Puhleez! Quit shoving this promotion to our face. After awhile, like any other commercial, no one cares. We know it's there but we ignore it because it's gone to a point of being annoying.

Be nice, that's probably what most of the ecnl teams said when they visited Portland last year.

Boy, you are reading comprehension challenged AND you are cluelss to boot. One, ECNL will NOT gain all of these quality players. Two, you have to build a good core group that builds from U11 to U13 so that you don't need all of these top players. You only want to have a few coming in, otherwise, your first year you are working to integrate all of these players together. Did you even see the results of the U14s from last year? It was horrible. It's hard enough with this CU model in that you have the C portion all starting out at three or four clubs, then by U13 they come together for the Crossfire team and then you have to mix Crossfire and Thusc teams together at U14. The only reason that there was one decent team at CU ECNL last year is because Onyx has played together for a long time and they didn't take many players from Crossfire. The other teams were disasters. It will continue to be that way until they get continuity.

I don't think the previous poster was highjacking anything. There is some truth to what was said.

The league will be fighting over scraps left at the table, fighting to see who's king of the dung heap. My money will be on Eugene as historically they will attract players in their sphere of influence down south. Up north, teams will disappear after their better players move on.

It will be a meaningless kick-ball league.

What is the age cut off in ECNL? Will the 03 players be pre-ECNL next year or ECNL?

Try reading other threads. You get ECNL overload.
