Thorns Academy will be done soon. If not this year, at most one more year before the Timbers pull the plug. They know they can't compete with the ECNL clubs and they won't want to waste any more money, time, and personnel on the Academy.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

All in, as in "all in your pocket, picking it clean". With nothing to speak of in return. Besides, how "all in" do you have to be to essentially force your Alliance clubs to send your best players to the Academy so that they can then play against you in league? If the Timbers were "all in" they would have teams at all age groups and have them playing in a national level league, even if that's the Mickey Mouse US Youth National League.
