My daughter is at a top club and I've never heard anything about this from our club. In fact the coach strongly frowned upon the girls playing basketball. Which clubs support cross-training?

Same at FCP. You get sessions with Therapuetic Associates for free.

The coach is not happy about girls playing basketball.

If you want to play at the highest levels you need to commit!

At 11 years old? That's insane.

Not when you realize that most of them quit by U15 anyway. It's now or never.

It's like those dance mom show where they dress 5 year olds up like street walkers with caked on make up. It's never too soon to go all in.

                    Cfc

Why isn't CFC playing in the Far West Regionals?

I'm an OPL parent, so I don't know if this is something you need to qualify for, or something you can just sign up for. But if CFC is so great, you would think they would want some stiffer competition.

OYSA was allowed two teams per age group. They took the two highest ranked teams that applied. I suspect CFC knew that the better competition is in NWCL so they did that instead. Eastside couldn't do NWCL as they finished 7th in league last fall...

The State Cup winner and runner-up automatically qualify for FWRL. CFC was knocked out in the semis last spring.

Not true. OYSA can decide however they want.

If you aren't on board then step out of the way.

That's the peak age for OYSA/TA
