"Very sure. Nobody EVER moves to a TA club. EVER. Don't get wound up in your team. Teams change every year and are completely unrecognizable within 2-3 years."
There were a few 00's that left eastside and W..T...F..C, and went over to Salmon creek. But I guess they are playing in the OPL... never mind.

Well, we know nobody is moving to Westside because there entire girls program fell apart at the 02 age group. Now, their loud-mouth coach Jorge has moved to BSC. I wonder what he will do to that age group over there. BSC has a decent program that is producing some good teams, but how long will that last? If Jorge became my daughter's coach, that would be a deal-breaker. I'd rather take up an extra paper route to pay for a club transfer, than send my daughter to him. I don't like the way he yells or micro-manages his players. He is an awful man.

He coaches the 2nd team and they won D1 title and Pres Cup this Fall, but you probably already knew that, so are you really wondering how he is doing or just trying to stir it up? Are you sure this isn't a personal problem? Or is this a poor attempt to try and recruit girls to your team?

I am so tired of the win at all costs mentality at this age level! Is there any club/team that focuses on actually developing even if that means sacrificing the win?
Teams should not be brining "A" team players down to play with the "B" team just to win games. The only way that would be acceptable is if A team players aren't getting much playing time or B team needs more players and then it should be the bottom of the A roster not the top.

Actually, I didn't know he was coaching the 2nd team. I am an OPL parent, so I don't see BSC or any OYSA games. I just know what I have seen when my DD's team played against his teams in the past. And you can't deny his sideline behavior is, well, let's call it "spirited."
If he is such a great coach, then why didn't he keep more of his players? I know he lost several to amongst many clubs.
This is not an attempt to recruit players, but thanks. Our team is doing just fine. Jorge can keep his B team players to himself.
And I agree with the other poster, how many players from the "A"/Premier team did they have to bring down each week to win that D1 league and pres cup?

A team guest players on B teams
I don't think it's right to fill rosters of B teams with A team players unless it is necessary to keep teams rosters filled. If a B team has 13-14 players, that is enough. But when coaches bring in 5 guest players and top the roster off at 18, then it's a disservice to the B team players who are there to play, but get left on the bench.
