      Maybe not but they did need a platform to get noticed. Either ECNL or GA get that for you. It does matter the level of comp you play with and against. Most D1 players come from those two leagues.

              They use the competition as a gauge for how well a player will help a program. ECNL competition serves as a better proxy for college competition than lower leagues. College coaches have a higher degree of confidence that success at ECNL will translate to college as opposed to success in a weaker league yielding success in college.

                          I agree. Congrats to all the girls from NE who have done so well. I think people also Misunderstand how good the players at UMas and BC are now. This isn’t 30 years ago when you could walk on or get recruited from HS. There are very few non club kids on those rosters. Just look at the bios yourself. If not GA or ECNL they are at least next level or foreign players.
