To be fair to the OP, with a only a fall season to go on, it probably wasn’t as evident then as it is now. Covid helped JB get the benefit of the doubt from some families that probably wish they left or went the player’s choice route. Live and learn, I suppose, but the blame isn’t squarely on the parent for returning. -
Some (not all) Stars parents are obsessed with their kids being on Blue. Even if it means a crappy coach and/or less playing time. Many of you left your daughters with this coach because of the perceived superiority of “blue” within the Stars hierarchy. If you had a brain you would have asked to move to White or tried out at Scorpions for U14. Now look where you are. Two of the most important development years down the toilet and your kid may not even have an ECNL team to play on next year.Comment

Hindsight is 20/20, and you’re absolutely right about lost development years and the kids being left scrambling. I don’t know that “the superiority of blue” was a driver for anyone.
