You got time. That season ends early.

How many 2025 commits so far?

Don’t name the player, but how about club & college?

After they come out make sure to do a follow up to announce where they transferred to.

or when they drop their sport altogether. That's far more common than transfers

I thought the entire 2007 blue team was the future starting lineup at Duke and UNC. Why would they quit?

I'm sure, but an info that you can provide vs. just feelings. I'm actually surprised the # of kids who remain rostered and dedicated for 4 years on my D's team who have neve got more than sympathy minutes here and there. Looking over their historical rosters I see one who appears to drop out of the game completely (i.e. not showing on another roster anywhere else) are just a few.

errr, meant to say I see just a few over the course of several years who appear to quit. Can't vouch for every program, but some appear to think it's enough to mention.

This has been discussed plenty on TS over the years. The number of kids that don't play all four years is shockingly high. There's many reasons for it - no PT, burnout, chronic injuries, wanting to focus more on school, coach changes etc. Absolutely the majority do, but overall the numbers of drop outs are are higher than most realize. Also consider your D's team is just one team. If it is a great group of people and coaching staff that's more likely to keep players there without minutes. If those things aren't present AND you're not playing? you're far more likely to quit or transfer

Still looking for real data besides "shockingly high". I don't see it, but I'm not making statements about programs my family isn't involved in so honestly don't know. So, again, I am surprised how many stick with it, but also have no idea (nor, apparently, do you) if that is unusual or not.
