Starters aren’t always the best players. Coaches always keep some good players on the bench. There are players who work better under pressure and can make it count when needed most for example down by a goal or tie game.

Intentionally, keeping some of your best players on the bench for other players is a good way to get into a situation late in the game where you need them .... you make ZERO sense! If your coach is doing this, you need to leave (whether it is intentional by the coach or he is just an idiot .... not arguably, an idiot either way). That is just stupid. Seriously, did you read the crap you just wrote down and actually believe that?
