Are you sure about that? Scales’ ****ty reputation reaches far beyond our little corner of the country.

Positive. Scales didn’t have any influence over his grades. Parents never think about the academics. A strong transcript + soccer skills + work ethic = a college roster spot. My guess is that the money I saved on soccer will cover his first year of college.

Lots and lots of timid kids are happier anywhere but at the Revs. Work on mental toughness with your child.

It’s the soccer skills that people will question. Playing for the Revs doesn’t hold a lot of water and sitting the bench in college won’t be much fun. Most college coaches aren’t looking for kids to keep the ball until they turn it over because they were never taught how to play on a team. There is more to soccer than scoring goals too bad the Revs never understood that.

Although they couldn’t score goals either.

Ha Ha - and scales gave kids bad recommendations on top of the bad soccer. Get what you pay for.

Look Revs dad, if the Revs were all you claim they are then they'd have no trouble filling rosters with quality players. Yet they struggle mightily.
Your kid most likely would have wound up at the same place without the Revs and all the drama, but yippee 🥳🥳 you saved a few $.

I remember one time a high level coach was coming specifically to watch a team-mate of my son's - normally a very consistent player who got plenty of PT and it wasn't an overly challenging game. They didn't play him at all despite them knowing full well that coach would be there. That was our last year. Phuk that. I get they want pro players - but who does that to kids?

Happens at every level in every sport. Not right and coaches should catch a severe beating for it,.

I’ve been coaching for 25 years and at a higher level than this. I’ve never seen a coach go out of his way to sabotage a kid or try to hurt a kid like that. I’ve seen coaches treat players poorly, but not be so intentional about hurting a kid.

yes because as a coach you see all games, all teams and coaches, right? gtfoh

Are you defending a coach that intentionally sat a player that a college coach specifically came to watch?

If that is your attitude about these D1 schools then I guess kids that go D3 are complete athletic failures right?

He was a lot more proficient and active about trashing kids than simply that.

Let's hope that's why he was finally caught with his mouth openly trashing one the week he was fired.

Way to go adult dad "academy director" of NE REVOLUTION
