I feel badly for the Bolts. We take all of their best players.

Revs are well known to be the best scouts in the region. It written all over JC coloring book.

It’s all about connections until u17 when they start trying to get the best players developed elsewhere.

Preferably players already committed to top colleges and universities.

Yes that happens every year now, usually when they're seniors and already committed. Tell us how much of an impact the Revs have had on their development? Even for juniors it's nearly none.

Silver spoon full pay kids are a college soccer coach's wet dream. The Revs are collecting college commitments like pelts.

Screw Revs....total BS scheme. Kids should play HS and have fun. If they’re good enough they will be found. They don’t need the Revs.

Especially if you have a dumb as* coach who has NO idea what he’s doing.

If they were in DA or they will be in the new MLS league they will be found.

College coaches only scout games at high schools that cost as much as college.

Public high schools are for D2 players because they don’t have the academic chops to get into the NESCAC schools.

But we have before and we just did again so you may want to take a long look in the mirror and reassess.

Players who want to play in college also play club soccer. A local coach might come and watch a local player in a HS game, but most recruiting is done via club soccer. But non DA players get to play HS + club + college. Will they be top soccer programs? Probably not, but that's ok by them.

Don't ignore the 2 class system in DA either - those who can afford pricey private or prep school and those who cannot. It should be all or none. Missing players in the fall creates headaches for coaches, and the players who are busting their butts all fall aren't always appreciative when the others return.

Remember when the Revs cared about soccer more than branding and college commitments on social media?
