Sums up the level of commitment this organization has. It's amateur hour over there. Scales always regurgitates to us that they're a professional club. They can't get the very basics down.
I'm not sure of the details of this, but I think the rule is they can't play the same day...did maybe he play with his own team the same day? Cuz normally a DA player can play once per day no matter if they are playing up. Often a DA club will roster a younger play, but only play them if needed so they can play the same day for their own age group. Was that maybe what happened...same day game?

Was this the ninth inning of game 7 in the world series?

The true loser here (and I am not generally speaking a Revs fan) is whoever the FINK is who pointed out the letter of the law to the authorities(if story is even true).

The objective of any high level team, any sport, is to see what they have in their players and get the most out of them. Especially in the DEVELOPMENT academy!

Ainscough protested the game due to a Revs player playing in two different age groups back to back days. Not allowed per USSDA rules.

Correct, the USSDA's "Split Fixture" rule. Important for the play to play clubs like the Bolts to focus on the wins.

Rules are rules. Revs let players go for training in the off season. Break a deal, face the wheel.

Sure, but the point is I highly doubt lets say, the Chicago Fire or NYRB would push for a forfeit in that case. Pay to play non MLS DAP affiliates have to show results for their paying families and market final results for repeat business.

Funny. Plenty of Revolution names, but don't seem to see the words 'Seacoast United' anywhere.

                Maybe a dream you had.
that link is for the Futures camp.
this is the link to Futures and actual u14BNT in Croatia(still no Seacoast):

I can promise you our coaches get nasty when we lose to the Bolts. They know losing to them is a problem.

The hypocrisy of the no waiver Revs "policy" next season is disturbing to say the least. A Kraft Sports organization that is overseen by the USSF has all the Kraft grandchildren and US Soccer president Sunil Gulati's nephews attending Belmont Hill. If you want to play soccer for them though, they demand that you stay in the publics and give no value to education. I would think an MLS Youth Academy Director is aware of the educational piece and landscape of the prep school factor, especially in here New England and would manage it accordingly. We're not in Dallas.

A Boston Globe article outing them on this would be fitting. Any takers out there?

The Revs do whatever they want. For more perspective, think Justin Rennicks and what they did to him. Shameful behavior.

Don't be rediculous. Waivers are allowed and clubs are also allowed not to grant them. It's all in rule book. Blame USSF for 1)putting in the ban in the first place (especially for non mls squad where families still pay to play and there rarely is a pro path player) 2) if they were convinced the ban was necessary then have no exceptions. Being wishy washy never works.

What they don't want to be outed on is the fact that they only really play and train for a sporadic 7 month season, not 10 months as mandated. The USSDA or MLS however don't mess with King Robert. The Revs boys that were recruited by the preps this past year would be missing a significant chunk of Revs involvement because of the 7 month (at best) schedule.

Has Seacoast EVER had a player called up?

Girls yes, but on the boys side? I don't think so.

That could change next year though, the 2004 team has a striker who already plays for the US youth Futsal team. Have to admit he's good, but it's hard not to be when you're 200lbs.
