Girls yes, but on the boys side? I don't think so.
Just last summer, actually. Player called up to play with the U19NT for the tournament in Spain.

Shameless picking a school he may have really wanted or deciding he didn't want a D1 job-like commitment.

I'm sure readers will be very sympathetic to kids getting to play for free and being in angst over private school

Prep school kids will be fine without the Revs. They're gething a good education and playing good soccer. Tons of prep school players land great college spots. A club can decide not to grant waivers and frankly I don't blame them, especially at a free MLS club (putting aside the questionable coaching at the Revs).

Do not forget USSF doesn't care about your child, his or her education or future. They only care about the player, and even then only about 2% of all the players. The Revs care even less. Do what's best for your child in the long term.

Wherever he's going, he better ease up on his on field antics. They won't tolerate the dives, chirping and the whole bad boy Euro thing he's got going. To the other point about waivers, don't forget both Burns and Scales have or have had their sons in the Revs system and so there's the resentment factor that you're forgetting. In other words, why them and not us?

If you want to play soccer for them though, they demand that you stay in the publics and give no value to education. I would think an MLS Youth Academy Director is aware of the educational piece and landscape of the prep school factor, especially in here New England and would manage it accordingly. We're not in Dallas.
                  Brady's kid at The Fenn?

Gulati and Kraft go way back. So essentially, the Kraft Sports group have a free pass.

KSG, KGB. They both pretty much have licenses to act with impunity.

Quick Google on the kid says he's headed to Noble and Greenough, according to his TD profile.

Prep school waivers aren't good for anyone. It causes resentment with parents as well. Generally not a good idea to grant them. The Revs players that have had them are now college bound. They were last granted in 2012/2013. Times are very much different now.

Kraft regularly meets with the Russians.

Just being on this site precludes you from throwing stones out of your glass house.
