Just because the team has a good record doesn't mean all the players are good or the club sees them having a future there. And don't forget the Revs don't develop talent. They continually replenish

Right, if you're the bottom two or three on the team, you an pretty much expect to be replaced, no matter how well the team is doing, or no matter how well you might be fitting in with the team. The Revs will always take a chance on an outsider rather than a known quantity at the bottom of the roster. Perhaps as it should be, give someone else a chance to take the world by storm if you're not doing it.

Why? the 2003s have the best record of all the revs teams. They've only lost two games all season. Doesn't make any sense

What do you mean... Inviting all but 2 back makes sense... You feel bad for the 2 (unless they are ready to go anyway...), but that's obviously keeping a good team together

Some are leaving and/or already have. DAP works for some, but some they would be better suited following a different path. It's a huge commitment to play DAP.

That is a promotional reward for season ticket holders. It is spending money to make money. Spending more money on the academy would not bring in more dollars to the organization.

That's true of most decent clubs. The bottom of the roster players are always at risk and should be looking at other options early spring to make sure they have a place to land.

DA is not more of a commitment in the sense the teams train 3x a week (probably less on average since they don't train 4x/wk and have cancellations or days off after a busy weekend). Getting to Foxboro from far away - for sure, there's a significant commitment to driving, and if the family judges that worthy, then that's great.

Clint Dempsey's family drove 3 hours each way 4 times a week to soccer. I find that beyond crazy. However, as a fan of the USMNT, I'm very glad that they showed that level of commitment.
