Watching Revs Academy on live stream now. They are actually dreadful. I mean God awful.

Embarrassing 7-0 loss. But it's more the horrible brand of soccer and the me-me-me players on the team. No technical ability at all. None of them. Not one.

My impression was that the Revs were able to string together some passes pretty well, but that they were not dangerous in the attacking third and that their central defending was abysmal.

That was the Mexican side. The Revs don't allow yelling or encouragement from the sidelines. Scales will admonish you. It's the lawn bowling culture.

CF Monterrey in a team huddle right before the match and the Revs posing for a team picture at the same time pretty much sums up the difference between the two teams in the first 30 seconds of the video.

That was a terribley embarrassing display. CFM just totally out hustled them. Goals were created simply with hustle. Look at the second goal scored. It caught the Revs sleeping. There was zero defensive effort on the other goals. I'm honestly shocked. I would never have guessed an older MLS academy team could look that bad.

The 13's and 14's have a better record obviously with the 13's showing a little stronger overall. I caught some games recently and there are players on both teams, who know how play, but the me-me-me's just stop the entire play every single time. The coaches just sit there and let them. The 13's parents are quite boisterous while the 14 parents sit there in utter silence. Comical.
