Because they’re delusional and no one likes them.

rumor has it ow will be letting their HS aged girls teams play HS soccer this year if there is a CT HS season. reason being there are no teams in their region (MA NH NY) of the GA that will field teams at those ages in the fall due to the majority of their players wanting to playing HS soccer. sounds like ow parents were snow balled by RD and the allure of a 10 month season with fall league games. what a joke.

We had one kid inquire with our AD about playing last week .... they were dismissed. The registration period for our HS has already passed and they were not allowed to be added. How about that?

          A few questions for you...

So you’re in regular communication with your AD about sports related issues? The AD just openly shares personal info like this with you?

What “registration period” are you talking about? If someone is a student at the school, then clearly they cannot be denied the ability to play sports because of your mystical registration period. Schools don’t start for awhile and tryouts haven’t taken place anywhere.

Do you always make things up to try to sound important?

Registration period? What are you talking about? Do you mean “tryouts”? Which hasn’t happened yet?

Registration happens for a couple weeks before the tryouts in our town. Our already passed. Spoke to the parent, not the AD, but keep ASSuming.

What are you talking about? That wasn’t even coherent.

My advice is for you to talk directly with the AD don’t rely on what parents tell you because it’s not always 100% correct.

Well, it depends. Some parents know a lot more than the AD.

Or reach out directly to the coach. "Registration" isn't really a thing, other than to get your kids release forms, etc into the school for all the required paperwork. A coach will look at any player coming in for tryouts. They'd be foolish not to.

How about you're full of shi*? As others have noted there is no registration period for public HS sports. Also, a school and coach doesn't care where you come from, as long as long as you aren't actually playing club in the fall and are not violating CIAC rules. That means you can's set foot on your club field for any reason, no ODP, nothing other than limited college ID events.

Our HS sports are pay to play so they need registration periods to sort all that out.
