Ours are too - many schools are - but as long as you have your medical forms in for tryouts you can send your check in the first few weeks, no issues.

Stop making it sound like players are locked out of HS, they are not. Get your forms in and you're good to go. No coach will reject a quality player unless they don't have their forms in or they have pain in the azz parents like you.

is this true? ow letting HS aged players to play HS ?

Nope. Nowhere near the handbag mafia. Sounds like your district sucks if they're trying to block kids from participating in sports.

Not clear, but the other states don't have the restrictions CT does. They have some rules - like HS to has come first - but not an outright ban. But if other clubs aren't playing or the schedule is extremely limited, OW has to make a tough call. Just having training 3 days a week isn't very appealing.

Different poster, our HS is pay to play as well and there’s no “registration period”. Medical forms and waivers due before a player can tryout. Payments handled later. Just man up, admit you’re wrong and move on.

Are you talking about the high school summer team? That might be closed. We are pay to play as well but registration for tryouts isn’t opened yet. We don’t even know when tryouts will happen with the season starting later.

I didn't have a chance to read all 576 pages about OW so sorry if it was covered but what is the final count of players that left OW once DA folded? For NEFC and SSS on avg. 2/3 girls per team left both former DA clubs and went to ECNL.

It's a sign of illness/injury if the patient is bleeding profusely

girls left ow to drive up from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours one way to go to other clubs in other states some as young as 6th grade. that's how bad it is.

I'm more shocked at how easily half the ECNL rosters were displaced by players from inferior clubs/leagues (if the 3 players per team is true).

I heard ECNL was the place to be, but until recently...was that just a marketing line and not the truth?

Not sure what you are talking about, but 3 top kids from an ow type program making a 22 player roster isn’t that great. Especially if they aren’t the top 11.

It was mentioned SSS and NEFC, too. Half a roster in some places displaced from "inferior" teams/leagues. II guess it's top as long as there is nobody looking to displace them.

A roster size of 22? People actually pay to be a part of that? Yeeeeeessshhh....

nobody replaced half a roster. Guess your kid go left behind on a gutted team?
