Practices frequently get canceled because Trinity has field conflicts. Coach is so-so at best and misses games due to his other BS team. Some kids are more focused on other sports and constantly miss games/practices. Last week the North goalie stepped in for a game because South goalie went to to a baseball game. Team manager is a disaster but BS won't do anything because he has 3 other kids at BS and MK doesn't want to risk ******* off the family. South families call the North manager to find out about games and tournaments. Best player was yanked off of team and placed on Academy team when MK found out he had RB and NYCFC offers. MK thinks mid-season promotion to Academy will keep the kid with BS. Clearly doesn't care that it crushes an already depleted south team.

I know this is all hearsay but i doubt our friends would be making it up.

If that story is true about that kid, I hope the parents are smart enough to get out of there and go MLS. Run way, run away...

The team manager is a she and has 2 other players in BS. Not 3. Everything else is spot on

I do love how small the CT soccer world is that the details of a u11 teams dirty laundry are known throughout the state.

I would be surprised if he is still at BS next year. Aside from him I can't see anyone else leaving especially for NYCFC

He may be the only one going to an MLS academy. Though you never know. The team had a player last year who is on Red Bulls this year that i've heard described as just a bit better than average.

A bunch of current players came from Revolution. Don't know if they were at tryouts or already have offers to go back but some parents are thinking about it.

The mass exodus may not be to other DA programs but to various premier & town clubs.

Who cares if there is a partial or full exodus? The reality is that BS is not going anywhere. No matter what BS and MK do, they will find enough players in FC to fill all the teams they need. If lucky, the teams will have some good players. If not, the teams will be OK and MK will talk about how he is here to teach and build character not just win.

For a club that has a motto which says "success is a choice" they keep choosing failure and nobody bothers to say anything. Every team they have across every age group loses the majority of it's games. This isn't TS trolling... it's easily verifiable fact. Scores are published.

They keep coming up with tales of a field/complex and nobody seems to care that it never happens. They take more and more money and people just line up. It's clear from this thread that there are tons of current BS families who are pissed off. Yet somehow, the banquet this weekend will still be sold out with every single table full.

So while it's great to vent on TS, when all is said and done 1, 10, or 100 families leaving BS will make no impact on the club or on MK.

no, not all scores are published. 07s and 08s play in pre-academy league which does not record scores. Both 07 and 08 North teams actually win most of their games. Check the EDP Spring tournament--08s won it and 07s lost in finals both in top bracket.

OK 08 parent. Congrats your 10 year old boy won a few games against some town travel teams that showed up at EDP. I guess that makes up for the roughly 12 boys and 8 girls teams that lose all their games.

Hey BS Ulittle dad. Check this post in a few years so you can see how clueless you were. If your kid is still playing by the end of middle school, let alone at BS? The odds are not good.
