Here is the actual club project with these designs you mention and funding.

It will be interesting to see which clubs benefit from the two new fields going in at Mountain View Middle School and the new Mountainside High School in Beaverton.

BSC might try and get in on the action, though they seem to be happy using the soccer field at Tektronix as their home pitch.
THPRD will manage the new fields near Mt. View MS; I don't know about the fields at Mountainside.

Very little revenue is coming in from rentals of these type fields because they cost the in season priority user so little $0 to $30 an hour during peak times. And they must be replaced every 5 to 7 years. Our tax dollars make it feasable currently.
Not sure how a rec or classic soccer club could service that kind of debt.
Familes already pay way too much to play classic club soccer with the field cost not being much.
But if Nike donated 10 million you could make it work and afford the cost of new fields after 7 years.

We have heard to no end on this site that WST is an organization that recognizes the best and only deals with the best. I am sorry, there is no excuse to have popup nets from Target. And it is incredibly lame to blame THPRD for this. WST is the home team, and they be embarrassed.
We are on the same side as you buddy. We hate the goals more than you. Trust us.

Whether or not that is true, I dunno. Not my field, not my lawyers.
