Alot of parents in this thread that are just living through their own kid and have never actually experienced this before on their own. Also I can tell many parents going through this for the "very first time". I can hear the inexperience in your messages.

I don't really get the big fuss over all of this stuff. If your in one of these program great, but if your not it isn't the end of the world or that big of a deal either.
The Big deal is NOT for you It's a Big deal for Orlando City. OC is looking bad and they hate the Brand tarnishing they are getting.. OC on one hand says it's NOT about winning and on the other hand instead of developing their current kids are recruiting feverishly.

Another example is Dallas Cup. Recruiting U9-10 to travel to Dallas. If those players that head to Dallas from other local clubs register with OC next fall would that be recruiting. OC lives above the Law………..

There is absolutely no need to travel to play in the Dallas Cup for U9s and U10s. Totally not needed. I played in the Dallas Cup myself. Great tournament, but totally unecessary for kids that young to travel that far to play in that tournament.

Here's a link to a tournament with 386 teams so far, and right in your back yard. Oh, by the way they don't have any of those programs yet seem to be doing just fine.

The Rush is a well respected Club. The Rush administrators do not play silly games.

The Directors Dummies at OC have been handed every advantage and can't figure their way out of the wet paper bag.

Florida Rush is a prime example why you don't have to have DA to be successful.

For OC being such a crappy club you seem to spend a lot of time worrying about them. If you spent half that time improving your own club imagine how great it would be!

That's a joke right? I assume it is as there is no track record of success at placing kids at the next level at Rush.

I think you misinterpreted what I said. Read it again

I completely disagree with you. Have you ever played competitive sports? Dallas cup is this past week btw. Dallas super copa is in June. At 9 or 10 is a great age to start competing and traveling. They learn a lot from travel and competition. I have older kids, and if you have ever gone to a competition where the kids are seasoned travelers and know how to behave and get around, you can tell. You can tell immediately a kid who has never left the comforts of home. Not everyone has families who can travel or who do travel so sports is way to learn and experience that. For a newer club, less than 2 years old, (I say that because I read about the start up clubs), OC has some great players but are still working on developing more. Dallas super copa is for u9- u12. Why are other states more advanced in soccer than is, um I can see why. Kids need to learn to compete. I look at Orlando city because of the different opportunities they offer. I would have loved for my older kids to have that option. They turned out great. However, it would have been nice.

You're lying. If you were there, you wouldn't make the claim. A bunch of those kids eventually signed with teams that had seen them when they were with CFK as Sophomores. A couple of them joined FKK AFTER the break with OC. 5 of the girls that signed as FKK players this year never played ECNL at OCYS. You are factually WRONG in your claim that all this years FKK signees were recrutied as a result of ECNL.

Hell, at least two of the u18s on OCYS s CURRENT ECNL team were committed as u17s BEFORE THEY joined the ECNL team this year.

Once again- you OCYS zombies simply repeat the crap you're fed by the Directorship. And once again, you swallow what you're told without even ONCE asking the athletes themselves who they credit with the guidance during recruiting.

I think you are the one splitting hairs, you make claims like crazy. Please keep the spit off the phone as you type.

As you challenged me, "refute it". I think we can agree that naming particular players is off limits, right? But are you denying that at least 2 of your 12 u18 signees this year were committed BEFORE they ever played ECNL(maybe more)?

Can you refute that FIVE FKK's signees never played ECNL? Can you refute that two more of them never even played for OCYS, but joined FKK after the split? How about the ones that were committed before ECNL even existed in Florida?

That's at least 9 or 40% of FKK signees that never played ECNL or committed without it. That's at least 18% of OCYS signees that committed before ECNL.

Those are facts. 40% is not "splitting hairs". Your continuous claim that "all FKK girls were recruited because of ECNL" is factually incorrect.

Ok. So didn't help 2 of their players get signed and they didn't help 5 of yours but the rest I guess are ecnl helped.
