Correct me if Im wrong, but This dispute has nothing To do with taking away a deserved win but everything to do with the fact that people involved havebeen betrayed. It's an ethical issue not a soccer ri rule issue.... that's why the heated discussions...just MO!

That Portsmouth team is a great team but they would have been trounced at the regionals and it could have been just as bad an experience as it is a good one. They are built to represent in PA and for a RI team that's all we can ask for.

Sort of.. here's the rule -
Each U12 Small Sided team must demonstrate continuity of rosters between the league and
cup by maintaining a minimum of 7 players common to the rosters of both competitions
I suppose in 8 v 8 with being allowed 5 transfers, having to have only 7 players on your league team, and having MA not play in U12 State Cup, that bracket is the closest you can get to making an "all-star" team. The problem as was indicated is if you are carrying more for your league play, then some of those kids get bumped or sit (14 max roster).

Again, good luck because it's really about the kids but know that your parents were betrayed by all the above that was mentioned. Unethical decisions made for the purpose of coaches egos. When you get old you can tell the grand kids what you did when you were younger.
We can keep going if you want, keep posting and we will keep telling people what we know. Amazing what Portsmouth people tell others and they are all embarrassed at what you have done.
