If he makes it you will be a bayhole like the rest of them.

I don't know how you watch games over the weekend and not admit Bayside is doing something good with the talent they have.

You're pretty small and feeble minded if you don't go to the field this weekend and see the difference in play especially in age groups like Boys 13, 14, 15 and Girls 15,16. The other teams aren't even close in terms of speed, finishing, touch.

OK now insert proverbial, "wait until they get to Regionals" quip from the folks who have never been. Regionals are regionals and no RI team is ever going in favored but you hope they compete well which last year a couple did.

More freebies per team than any other club.
Freebies play the entire game while the paying wannabee parents kid sits the bench.

I think they can brag a little bit!
What is more astonishing is the closest competitor(s) are Bruno and Blackwatch with 2 SC each. Congrads to Portsmouth for representing the local towns. As much as we hate Bayside, I have to admit they have done very well over the last 3 yrs.

Hey go ask JT and SC whether they like some of those freebies for their own clubs YRP. I hope you understand the freebies are worth their weight.

I don't know - I pay full ride and my kid plays the entire game.

This puts money on the table for a lot of these guys - The amount of free rides is pretty limited, as there are too many willing people who'll pay.

Also, I'm not too concerned if they take a kid on who can't afford it - it's the right thing to do.

What age group was your son so impressed by or are you too afraid to say?

Ahhhh, but some of their squads have 5-6 players on scholarship.

Small and feeble is the Bayside arrogance that they are the only good teams
                      and option around.

Something created for the flyer perhaps?

I got one, my kids team lost and he said "mom, I want to camp out at Bryant until tryouts"
Gosh, he is just so darn excited about the mere hope as scant as it is to play for Bayside.

Just for your Info. Portsmouth didn't represent as a local town team. They grabbed girls that don't usually play for this team. Just for the state cup. We should actually be congratulating South Shore Select.

Tell us.. Why do you care who pays and who gets a scholarship? Both of my kids play for Bayside and I pay. Maybe some of what I pay helps another family. So what? I really do not care who gets a scholarship. Quite frankly its no ones business. If there is a talented kid out there, who does not have the money, why not let him or her play? Players should not be judged by the size of mom or dad's checkbook.

It is sad that you parents don't get it..coaches don't make good players in any sports.the kids need to fall in love with the game first.you can't fall in love with the game of soccer when your faster and biggest players are ones that get to play all the time.there is nothing fun in chasing a ball and trying to out run the opponent..the kids have to learn to play and control the ball.the freebies are good because this is all they do. They love the game one game not three sport athletes .if your small u have to learn to control the ball because you can't out muscle or out run the other kids

Players learn by watching other kids in practice and in games more than any coach can give or say.so what you are paying for is for your son and daughter to be around talent that will make them better than if those kids were not thete
