I actually think most of the NPL parents are quite grounded and content with their situation. Most of their daughters have other commitments besides soccer and are more free to take part in those commitments without fear, something they wouldn't be able to do if they played elsewhere. They like their coach. The parents are all friendly with one another. The girls are all friends on and off the field. In terms of development, most of the girls actually improve year over year. No one thinks their kid is playing D1. And many have no desire to play in college. They play soccer because it is fun and they enjoy developing, being challenged, and playing in a better than average competitive environment.

I think what is embarrassing and what is a total joke, is signing up for ECNL, going on a message board and proclaiming how great you are because your kid plays ECNL, being given some watered-down FC Bucks version of ECNL, and then being so delusional and thinking you are actually getting what ECNL is supposed to be.

Before you go around criticizing anyone else, you may want to check yourself and have a reality check. No ECNL team in the entire USA, nor any ECNL-R team in the entire U.S.A practices as few times a week as FC Bucks 06 ECNL. No other ECNL or ECNL-R team in the entire U.S.A. has an unlicensed unqualified dad coach, yet FC Bucks 06 has one. Most teams, regardless of their level, train hard and actually develop as players and as a team and show some improvement year over year. FC Bucks 06 ECNL has actually managed to get worse year over year, despite it supposedly getting rid of its weak links.

So yeah- the joke is on you. Your daughter plays for an ECNL team that is s ECNL in name only - mommy and daddy write a check and the ****ty club buys a special patch for her jersey. It is ECNL in name only because the team isn't any good and it doesn't actually meets the requirements of an ECNL team and doesn't do the things that EVERY OTHER ECNL team in the USA does. So your daughter's special patch means absolutely ****ing nothing except a to a bunch of delusional parents to whom it means everything.

You have resorted to calling out 13 year old girls by name on here?! Adults are one thing, but kids? There is something really disturbing about this post. This is horrendous

More or less disturbing than meeting in Joe Malone’s living room to hand pick your daughters 11/12 year old soccer team because you believe your daughter is above reproach and shouldn’t be subjected to tryouts and competition. If you did things the right way, then no one would have any reason to question your daughter’s abilities. Instead you chose a path which subjects them to questions about whether they deserve their spots. And so far the consensus is many do not.

Tryouts were not cancelled. BB cancelled our training due to weather but the Club never cancelled tryouts. But have no fear, no one showed up anyway. No one was ever showing up.

16 girls showed up to the ECNL -rl training tonight. They were willing to brave the cold . Hmm
