Here is what matters - much more than a silly youth soccer ranking site.

1. There are 15 teams in our Northeast ECNL conference.
2. 7 of those 15 teams are ranked ahead of us on youth soccer
3. We are right in the middle
4. Looking at our recent record against the bottom 7 in our conference, we tied the bottom 4 teams (Delco, PDA White, Maryland and Bethesda) and lost to FSA and Scorpions. We did beat Connecticut FC though!!

We used an extremely good top ODP regional trapped player in several games and we lost!

Maybe your team should just become a USYS team and play in top level EDP.
Does your club offer that option?

Seems like the team is a top level local team and would do really well there. And from what I’ve read that league would fit a team that only practices 1-2 times a week and has a parent coach - those things are more along the lines of EDP rather than ECNL.

The ECNL patch doesn’t mean much if you can’t really compete, and don’t follow the ECNL standards. It really only means you pay a lot more money and travel a lot more.

Might solve a lot of the problems.

Except too many parents are enamored by the "patch" and think the "patch" defines who there child is and that is how they let their girls be a part of the BRD and the "promises" of RF as their coach, none of which have come to fruition. If the parents would have just let the tryouts happen with no BRD the team would have more cohesiveness, chemistry and talent, but no the BRD had to happen and this is the deck this team has been dealt.
