Safe money is on Fehlre. BB can do his thing and Fehrle is more than happy to stand there and pretend to be coach. Jim McGloughlin will be at Bethesda too, but doubtful BB wants us to get as taste of what a real coach is like. And at least we lowly people on the ECNL RL have a real paid professional coach - one that is every bit as successful as RF on the High school front. Our coach is vested in developing the talent he has, he shows up, he actually looks at his high school schedule and let’s us know in advance when he needs to change a practice - he can communicate like a real person. He has never threatened the girls and they all feel comfortable speaking to him or emailing him. And he does not believe in parent coaches - even though there is a dad on our team who is a member of the bucks professional staff (IB). Yes there is actually a dad on the team who is a paid professional and our coach does not use him because he understands the conflicts and perceptions that occur with a parent coach and all the problems that brings. We practice two times a week and have great participation at our practices. And our girls actually earned their spots on the team. So tell us again how we are jealous of your almighty ECNL team?
Maybe we are just sick of our team being looked down upon by BB and the club and sick of going to tournaments without some of our players because BB didn’t put enough on the ECNL team. Our team gets screwed all the time maybe if BB could just leave us alone and take whoever he wants permanently we wouldn’t be so upset. Our team has a roster of 20 to subsidize the ECNL team which only has 15 and it’s not right. BB’s manipulations have greatly affected our team too. Our coach gets put in a bad spot bc we have so many on our roster and the reason we need so many is because we never know when BB is going to take one of our players. The rosters need to be more even in size so that our coach can plan. The club needs to fix this age group and fast as many of our parents are sick of the treatment we’ve received.
So although you think it’s all about jealousy - you are wrong. We just want our team to be left alone, and we want equal roster sizes, so that we are not subjected to the whims of BB.Comment

Not only did they show up, their training was changed due to the state games in NJ getting postponed because of the weather late Monday and the girls and the parents made the effort to change their schedules says a lot about this team that they can adjust their schedules when changes happen last minute and this time the coach had no control over the changeOriginally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

Its Wednesday. We've spent several thousand dollars for our daughters to play soccer on Rich Finneyfrock's team. We are spending several hundred more to attend a tournament in Bethesda this weekend. Rich has known the possibility exists he wouldnt be able to be at Bethesda for several weeks now. It was confirmed last night. We still dont know who will be coaching our daughters this weekend. How is this ok?Comment

Once again, at a real club, this would not fall on the coaches, it would fall on the DOC. The DOC is in charge of coaching staff and game coverage. If the DOC was quality, this would have been organized before the team even began the season, along with practice and game coverage. The coach should have never been selected to work with a younger team that plays in the fall since he is coaching a high school team. The DOC selects the coaching staff. FC Bucks are having these issues because the club isn't run in a proper way. FC Bucks is being run no differently than how Philly Soccer Club or Falls Twp. run their clubs with parent volunteers. DM has no idea what he is doing. Club wide, the players are unhappy, the coaches are unhappy and the parents paying for everything, are certainly unhappy. Agreed. But unfortunately here we are two days before we leave for Bethesda. It would be nice to know who will be coaching this team this weekend. It would be even nicer if that coach could come to our practice tomorrow night to actually learn who is on this team. Or if it is just going to be BB, tell us it is going to be BB, so parents can at least make an informed decision whether they wish to waste their time coming to Bethesda. Not sure I (or anyone) should have to write the coach and the club leadership to see who will be coaching my daughter this weekend. I happen to know Villa has their State Championship game in Hershey this weekend. I dont know if every parent on the team follows Villa soccer. Our assumption should be that the coach actually shows up. If for whatever reason they cannot show up, shouldnt it be the responsibility of the club and/or the coach to communicate to us this fact.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
