This thread is specific to the '06 team but the ENTIRE club is having this problem, no one can go to the board and expect to be heard....unless it benefits the board members kids teams....

Exactly and that’s why this thread has gone on for as long as it has. When the board is the
leadership and the leadership is the board, the parents have no where to go to voice their complaints.

When the dad coach is on the board and friends with DM and CF it ties everyones hands. The club should never have allowed a board member unprofessional dad to coach a team. The conflicts this causes is mind blowing and also foreseeable which shows the club has no leadership to speak of.

Absent any changes to leadership this club and this team are all going to die a slow death.

Agree with everything except the death of this team will be quick. In one year we are down from 18 to 15. With injuries we have had to rely on guest players to have a full roster. This team can’t financially support itself and has to be subsidized by other teams. In one year we went from a highly ranked team to a middling mediocre team. More and more parents aid current players are having their eyes opened and are questioning the logic of paying several thousand dollars for 1x week training, a conflicted unqualified dad coach and an absentee checked out head coach. It will come as no surprise when several current players don’t return next year. And word is out locally about the team and no one in their right mind from other clubs will be looking at this team. Absent changes, this team will be done by august 1

I think Bucks will always field a team as long as they have the ECNL badge. But the team will not be any good and will go the way of the other FC Bucks teams that play but do not compete at the ECNL level.

This team has scored a grand total of ZERO goals in their last five games against ECNL teams, add to that they have now tied teams they were beating significantly last spring . The team is on a downward spiral and the writing is on the wall. The team will not attract quality new players with its current coaching situation and the path that it is on. Shame for the girls as there is some good talent on the team, but they lack training, coaching and leadership.

How will they field a team? Im not certain players on the ECNL-r team would be willing to play for dad coach and RF. Certainly not enough to fill out a depleted roster. So where are these girls going to come from to fill out the ECNL roster? An 06 Crusa team? Intramural team? Again, absent real changes before then, the team is done.

Doubtful. Who did they reach out to? RF who doesn’t recruit or respond to emails? Or BB who has no business dealing with issues related to next year since his daughter supposedly hasn’t (and based on performance, shouldn’t) made the team. More than likely, you are just that guy on the titanic standing in neck deep water insisting the ship is unsinkable

Lol. That’s believable. There’s a line of decent local players banging down the door to play and parents willing to shell out thousands for their kids to play for some girls dad. This post was clearly made by the dad coach or one of his buddies.

Give one example of what FC Bucks does better than their competitors that will attract (and keep) top level players. Their competitors are DA and ECNL clubs.

- Facilities- No
- Competitive Environment- No
- Value - No
- College Placement - No
- Executive Director - No
- Programming - No

Face it FC Bucks is still managed like a local travel organization. Everything is team based and just enough is done to appease most parents. When was the last time (or first time) LS and DM was at a game or practice? Do they even know you or your kid? Take notice of the teams you are playing there are always 2 or 3 coaches at every game including away games. They are supposed to video tape every game. What good is that if there is no review? Please share your kids development plan because I have yet to see one. An 8 week speed and agility program... worthless, 7 teams sharing a field.... horrible, and lets not forget about that farce of a futsal program...

They are only viable because of the ecnl patch. It would not take much for another club to take their spot. Really it would only take hiring someone with ties to the ECNL brass. FC Bucks shoukd make that hire before someone else does.

that doesn't make sense seeing as the 'jeep lady' has moved on. Plus, not sure that this is correct seeing as the Ukies team like their new coach. They aren't scoring a lot and therefore not winning games, but their soccer is looking good. After all, it's still about development at this age, not just results
