But we all knew this for several weeks. So why the day before cancellation with no rescheduled training day this week? We deserve better.
Who cares if we don’t know the schedule yet?? We are all staying tuned to find out. I’m sure we will know soon!

          Audrey

Audrey. If you are out there. Please save us. You’re our last hope.

This is Raphael, the soccer policeman for this site. I’ve gotten a complaint about a parent cursing out a 12 year old kid. I’ve read the thread from beginning to end, and besides some hippie mom sounding like a crazed lunatic, I didn’t see any evidence of the claim. Just a suggestion: bring it down a notch. Minus the daughter’s hostage plea post, you all really do sound like blanco trash.

Hi Raphael. Thank you for your concern. We have not done our daughters justice by our antagonistic and frankly, obnoxious posts on here. The parents who have been posting have been warned by the coach and will be kept quiet going forward.

Welcome. Hey, let me know if your dad coach gets the boot and if your practice schedule is out as promised. Gotta admit, I’m curious.

                    Mediocre

This week’s word is mediocre. If we are happy being mediocre, then the status quo is fine. It would be a shame though. There is some top notch talent on this team. With real unbiased neutral tryouts, a better, more devoted head coach, and the removal of a conflicted dad assistant, this team could be playing for national championships, year in and year out. People ask if you are so unhappy, why don’t you leave. One of the reasons is the potential. This team has such great potential, and the fixes are so easy if parents demanded it. As yourselves this - Do you think PDA cancels as many practices as we do? Do you think PDA coaches miss as many games as our has? Do you think PDA allows an unlicensed, unprofessional, dad of a player anywhere near a team in the way that BB is involved with this team? Not all those girls on PDA live in Zarapath, NJ – they are driving there – from places that are also within range for FC Bucks. Right now, if you were a good enough player within driving distance of both, why would you choose FC Bucks over PDA? You wouldn’t. And that is why PDA will continue to win National Championships; and will get the most attention from college scouts from top schools, and we will continue to be mediocre – but hey, Brian is a nice guy. You all know deep down inside this is right. You all know that if Audrey or any other fully dedicated coach, were coaching this team, it would be a different team and would be much better.

Absolutely correct. You don’t find these things happening at reputable clubs, especially those in the DA or ECNL. FC Bucks needs to clean house. The majority of coaching staff, along with all the leadership needs to go. This isn’t about one team, it’s about the club.

Let’s all agree to give it a year and see how it plays out. You make a lot of good points.

Excellent points indeed. I just hope things turn around before it is to late for this very talented team.

Its getting pretty close to the breaking point. Next year the cost of ECNL jumps drastically, mainly due to increased travel costs associated with mandatory ECNL showcase tournaments. If people currently on the team don't start seeing value this year, several people will likely choose to not return. With an already thin roster, and kids not coming from other clubs do to a bad rep, this team could conceivably fold, and FC Bucks could find themselves trying to barely squeeze two rosters out of a limited group of ECNL and ECNL-R players.

This has been the case with the older teams the past two years. Last season the 17's and 19's had low numbers. Ask around, look at the boxscores from last year and you will see game rosters in many games were at 11 players. What was worse was the turnout at practice. You can't get better if the turnout is low at practice.

Add low player turnout to a coach who does show up and someone’s dad filling in and it becomes a vicious downward spiral. This team already has a small roster and has had to rely on guest players. This fall we will have a few trapped players who will help us get by. However, it is conceivable that by spring, with injuries, we may not have enough players each week to field a team. All self inflicted.
