Meireles: When I went to Seacoast, I had just found out was academy was. I wanted to try something new, and when I got there it just didn’t feel like the right environment for me. They’re, to be honest, a lot different than me, and everyone here in Everett is from an urban neighborhood. Then when I was down with the Revs, it was a profesional environment and what not. There were kids similar to me, but I didn’t feel like I could connect with the coaches. Then at the Bolts, Dan is really invested in me and worries about me off the field and at home. At the Revs, I didn’t quite feel that. The Bolts is far more of a personal connection.

I had a kid a Seacoast. Don’t know why he couldn’t connect but it could have something to do with the fact that many of those kids have played together since 10 years old and they live closer together and share rides and hang out outside games and practices. Can be tough for a kid from the outside to initially connect. Not bad kids on either side just takes time to gel with a group that is so close.

That entire organization is a farce, not just the youth program. Who the F is Brad Freidel? What experience does he have? Burns and Bilello are insignificant in the soccer world. I don't know Scales, just googling him now, but he's obviously incompetent.
