So your point is? All the boys on my kid's team are proud to be Revs players.
They should be proud. The problem is they won't get better. Get it?

Psychotic morons.
Why do you think their best prospect took the chance and trained overseas and then proceeded to get kicked off the team because of it?

BECAUSE THERE IS NO DAMN TRAINING IN FOXBORO.

        ...

Or he thought he would give it a go and failed? Nothing wrong with that. The Revs cut their nose to spite their face.

The Revs management would benefit from relaxing about tryouts with other pro clubs. Every boy in their program has shown ambition to leave their youth clubs for the Revs, so why not let them tryout to step up to the next level whether it is a residential program here or a team overseas? They'll do it anyway. Right now most boys fail, and would be happy to go back to the Revs. Cutting those boys is just self-harming.

Because to the Revs coaches it's seen as a failure and a blow to their egos. They can't conceive that some one out there might have better coaching. Long term the USSF goal should be for players to remain in MLS academies and sign MLS contracts. But for quite some time the ultimate prize is to play abroad. Demonstrating that you can develop players that can reach that level would be a huge selling point. Granted it rarely works out, but the Revs use those failures to scare other families - "look, see what happens"

You can also acknowledge that for the last 5yrs to Revs only signed 3 home grown players. As cheap as the Revs ownership is, they should be putting more focus on homegrown which is cheaper. Revs whole structure is emblematic of its current crisis. Coaches can't coach and players can't play put to their abilities. Sad but true....

https://www.revolutionsoccer.net/pos...?autoplay=true. Love it... How many times the Revs can't close the deal? This have been going on for the last couple seasons and this year is the pinnacle of coaching stupidity. I can think of 6 games they were ahead or lie heading to the last 10 minutes and gave the games away. The head coach is accountable to the first team and the direction of the academy. Unfortunately, from ownership, management and all the way down to scouting are clueless.

Replacements make the team better than last year. They won in Montreal.
