My kid has been at the Revs since age 13, and is still there. He hates his coach, as do most of the boys on his team, Scales is totally invisible to him, training sessions are lazy and boring, trips to showcases are as bad as you could imagine, he thinks the lack of response to the drug taking just shows how pathetic and unserious the academy is. He likes his teammates though and thinks the Bolts are not as good. So he will stay with the Revs. He can’t wait to get to college and leave this purgatory behind.

Definitely not. I was just trying to help. When you wrote that he is in purgatory, I was just trying to be helpful. Please accept my apologies. I coach at an ISL school, and I think what we offer is a great overall experience. I totally understand that each child is unique, and I didn’t mean to offend.
