Can I give you some advice?
The 2003 age group just displaced virtually all of the 2002 players in the U16-U17 combined age group.
Those 2003's are going to have a year of experience with bigger and faster opponents under their belt by the time the 2019-2020 teams are formed an announced.
What do you think will happen to the VAST MAJORITY of 2004's when it comes time to combine with the 2003's next year?
Start finding a back up plan now.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostAgain, it was half of the 2002 group displaced, not "virtually all". I really don't know what you expect to happen when a single age team merges into a double-age team. Your "advice" applies equally to all DA clubs. Roughly half of the U15 age group will be cut every year on every team as they merge into U17.

Well since the Revs Academy are ranked #20 out of #23 it totally makes sense. They really don't care. No U12. No U16. Lazy bottom of the barrel coaches. Minimal practices borrowing fields from local high schools.
The 17s lost 38 games across the entire season last year and that was before they re-did the schedules so they'll play more MLS teams. Should be a fun year ahead!
"In terms of overall academy talent level, the Revs are easily in the bottom quarter of the league. The Revs are a cost-conscious club . . . "
