These messages are god awful.
I've always hated fellow sports parents, this has been 254 pages of reinforcement. I feel sorry for so many of your children. The weight of your mediocre hopes and dreams is going to crush them when the reality hits that there is always someone better. Maybe spend less time sweating your kids athletic abilities, and get them to hit the books.

Yes youth soccer politics sucks and literally everyone you know will just graduate and hang up their Adidas CrazyFast boots up next to your Copa’s come senior year. I’m here to remind you of that. The empire will not strike back. There is no New Hope and you are not the Last Jedi. You don’t live in Connecticut. You live in Mass.

They should be complaining. That is not what exists now as BY does not put Q4 players grade appropriate. Any 12 month span will have RAE which changes the tide of the youngest players substantially over time. Current Q4 players deal with RAE plus inappropriate grade placement which causes a host of other issues.

Has anyone's club in MA started talking about potential plans if it is passed in November? (which if the rumors are true, it sounds like it will be) We haven't heard anything yet, but I'm assuming they're waiting until an official announcement. We have heard parents mentioning it, but not coaches or club officials.

Yes our Mass club told us a decision is coming and the club is prepared to handle one way or another. We were also asked for players graduation years.

Like it or not, school year solves an issue for them too.

Doesn't matter what the q1 q2 q3 q4 parents want or don't want, it's happening. The decision makers are not reading your rants. Just accept it and prepare for it.
Instead of focusing on if and whether, the discussion should be when and how.
When?
As early as spring or as late as fall?
How?
All Aug to Dec players (NL + RL) get placed on national teams?
What about those NL players who refuse to be placed on their grade level NL teams because they think they will be playing "down"?
If they are allowed to stay on the older grade team, what happens to them later when they have the problems the change is trying to mitigate?
