Originally posted by Unregistered View PostNo. The Oakwood academy teams started training yesterday. They play now they Early Dec outdoor, then again late Feb through early June. During these seasons they train 3 times a week. Mid Dec they late Feb they do a light indoor schedule. All this for a lot less than it costs to play for FSA or cfc’s top teams. Never understood how they could be so much cheaper.
Plus raffle sales, strongly recommend camp, volunteer in snack shack, all about the same. And at fsa or CFC they don’t force kids to shovel snow by hand and make parents take down 5 hotdogs behind the dumpster

Oakwood and USSF's strategy for cheaper soccer is being squeezed hard and their prices will continue to skyrocket at each club's expense. They basically discount tuition for their top two boys and girls teams and subsidize it with their younger teams (which, at about U12 or 13 and below are more expensive than FSA and CFC now). Cheers!
