Just because you play soccer for ECNL or GDA does not mean you aspire to play DI soccer. Most kids are smart enough to choose school for what is right for them academically for whatever they choose to study, at a college they want to be at! By the way I hear Endicott is a beautiful campus.

That’s right you don’t need GDA or ECNL to land at Endicott. Some play for the love of the game, with friends and are not playing for scholarship money. As for saving money for test prep, what makes you think because some chose D2 or D3 they did badly on SAT’s. Some kids and parents are a little more realistic then some posters on here. 99.9% of these kids are never going to be national team players and want to enjoy the college experience. Realize that some play for the live of the game

Is OW still a thing? Half a decade ago, when my kid went there, they had daddy coaches who gave their own kids unearned time. And, their kids skipped practice. Oh, and they weren't all that good. EB still there? Proof that playing the game doesn't make you a good teacher of the game. This lackluster approach to coaching makes the club a C+ at most. How'd they get GDA? Nobody else wanted it?

Looks to me like Endicott has a good number of FSA/CFC ECNL and Oakwood players on roster with the majority being Nursing students. Guessing they choose D3 to concentrate on hospital clinicals as a D1 coach usually will try to persuade a recruit to change majors as clinicals take away from training.... happened to a friend

There's more players that didn't play in top leagues than did. Depending on your college goals a top league is not a necessity.
