BS just extended the deadline to purchase tickets for banquet. lol come on guys. Go get those tickets before they are sold out

Don't know what it was like last couple of years but when we were on BS, the banquets were sold out a LONG time in advance. A buddy with a kid on one of their uLittle teams said he didn't know if any of the families from his team were coming. Perhaps all the Academy families come.

Ow has a banquet. If your family doesn't show, your kid gets much more bench (unless a top 5 stud).

I hear it's more of an 07 South thing. We are good friends with a North family and from what I hear, South is like a bastard step-child. North genuinely feels bad about their South teammates.

Practices frequently get canceled because Trinity has field conflicts. Coach is so-so at best and misses games due to his other BS team. Some kids are more focused on other sports and constantly miss games/practices. Last week the North goalie stepped in for a game because South goalie went to to a baseball game. Team manager is a disaster but BS won't do anything because he has 3 other kids at BS and MK doesn't want to risk ******* off the family. South families call the North manager to find out about games and tournaments. Best player was yanked off of team and placed on Academy team when MK found out he had RB and NYCFC offers. MK thinks mid-season promotion to Academy will keep the kid with BS. Clearly doesn't care that it crushes an already depleted south team.

I know this is all hearsay but i doubt our friends would be making it up.

I took a few years of Latin in college actually and two of my professor’s favorite expressions were “ sapientia melior auro “ and “Interdum stultus bene loquitur.” Think about it.

The whole North-South thing is a total disaster and a gimmick they created because they did not have fields.

Last year's gimmick was also a disaster. One pool, 3 teams, 2 leagues, 2 coaches, 2 keepers (really only 1). "Balanced teams" playing against A and B teams. 1 game an 8-0 loss and next game an 8-0 win (if and only if, you had a goalie for that game). No clue which coach would show up, which players would play, etc.
