If you ever read the MA boards you know Revs suck and spend no effort or $$ on the program. They only stay in the pack because the name and being free still attracts the best talent in the area. Don't know anything about the other one he mentioned. However, the broader point is that BS U16's are doing poorly in an already weak bracket. They're lucky they don't have to play some of the nation's top MLS clubs. It wouldn't be pretty. Most MLS clubs spend substantial money on their programs - some are even starting residency programs - and have some of the country's best talent. It is the future of DA, not the pay to play clubs

Several MLS clubs (Dallas and Red Bull) leading the way by giving homegrown talent a shot to play for the first team. Yes, NE Revs are doing a poor job, but they will need to up their efforts to keep up with the rest of the league in development of players. The landscape is quickly evolving for sure. Where does that leave OW and BS in ten years?

If the goal for most of the BS academy players is to get a scholarship or placement into a top academic college, then BS is doing something right. Look at their website for boys commits this year. Not bad at all.
