The only issue is if he didnt pay his taxes and embezzled the cash out the side and not pay taxes. Is that what you are inferring? If they were jockeying for a deal and it blew up, it blew up. Too bad. If he was raising cash from accredited investors, this is a risk and they sign their life away looking for upside, and on the other hand he was doing raffles or whatever for cash. Tough. They can reallocate that cash wherever they want. Fundraising is not a "contact" with you for that dollar. Just sayin' BFD they didnt get a field. I dont care, my kid not there, but this nonstop drivel of made up sh*t is wearing thin. Just make something else up thats way more dramatic and interesting, because, in the end, you are just making this sh*t up anyway. Go watch Fargo or something and come back to us with some crazy plot twist to wrap up the "end of bs"... s are coming to get Mickey back and he can be with Elvis again. Thats way more interesting.

The charges are that money from Beachside was used for expenses for his private for profit enterprise Mickey Kydes soccer. You can’t do that no matter how you document (hide)it. It’s not his cash it’s was the clubs and should have been spent renting more field space or more training days for beachside players. It was well known this happened but ignored for years but the campaign for the fields pushed things over the edge. It was always wrong and illegal. A decent forensic account will find something much more interesting than aliens.
It’s pretty intresting that you claim no one outside beachside knows who he is . Even people who dislike Micky will admit his very well know in the regional soccer community. Maybe that is your wish no one will notice and this issue will not impact beachside once it blows up.

No longer at Beachside but really beating a dead horse with the fundraising. The fundraising was not just for fields. It is for a variety of items including scholarships. Take a look at other charities you donate too, most of the money goes to salaries for the executives.
The makeup of families at Beachside is either those who have money and will not miss a donation, the remaining are families that do not have the money but do minimum contribution like tickets to the banquet, donate to the team basket and maybe contribute to the raffle or games at the banquet.
SCP fell apart because several top people took a step back, not just one in charge. Beachside has some talented coaches and this change may help them if the coaches are allowed to be creative in their training vs the same drills across the board for every team. Every team is different and training needs to be adjusted to work on each teams weaknesses.

- MK is completely out. 100% out. Otherwise his stamp will continue to be all over the club
- They get a new board and management that actually participates and has some control over operations
- They build a facility and repair trust
Also, any well run charity has at least 75% or more going directly to programs, not salaries. There are several online resources that evaluate where a nonprofits spending goes to help donors make choices. A tiny "non-profit" (quotes intentional) like BS won't be there. The question of whether or not families were "duped" on the facility campaign hinges on how the donation pitch was phrased and if donation records had specific designations. That said, even if technically BS did nothing wrong, many families definitely feel duped.

There is a distinct and separate effort made to raise funds fot scholarships, as evidenced by a very specific mailing/ letter sent to all families, and describing itself as dedicating the contributions for scholarships.
Finally, there is a banquet, which remains general in its intentions, and therefore one can assume money raised here goes to a general fund, which the club can use it's discretion in spending.
The IRS and State Attorney General have very well documented and enforced rules as to how not-for-profits fundraise and spend those funds. You can't just do what you want, even if you think you were a hotshlt soccer player in the early 80s.

They rolled out a huge stage and a helicopter came in and there were like llamas and stuff, and glitter everywhere, you shoulda seen itt

Beachside updates
Season begins soon. We'll find out who stayed/left.
Should make for some amazing discussions. While it will be entertaining to learn who left, the best questions will be why they left, where they went, and why they went where they did.
Clubs submit their USSDA rosters to the Federation I believe the first week of August.

Beachside new rosters

I think there was a lot more movement of players at the younger DA ages, but we'll see soon enough. We can compare the DA roster from 2017/18 to 18/19 easily.
