That's why THUSC had to register a now former CU team under their 'club' umbrella just so they could play state cup. They won it at u13g but over 50% of the starters left for the DA which is perhaps the biggest reveal of the insane con job.
The DA Thorns & Timbers are both not Oregon clubs per say, both are not eligible for USYS or US Club or ODP league/competition. They each can only play in US Soccer's DA platform based on their association with a Professional team (NWSL Thorns & MLS Timbers) US Soccer granted them this distinction.
THUSC is your mommy & daddy not US Soccer. Tool.
If they were a club CU club, this team would be going to Hawaii with a different name than THUSC. Really who cares about facts and reality. The dream of being Elite is fueled by a sick process of travelling all over the country, full fare !!! to play other 'dreamers' some of which are actually clubs, unlike CU. Jus Sayin. Insult to Injury.

I'm not begrudging those families their decision. It's a free market system, and people make decisions based on a wide variety of factors, so to conclude it's a problem with CU or that the team is now left with only 20% of its talent is not only ridiculous, it's insulting. But then again, that's why it was posted on this board.

I’m glad my kid is not one of the 16 girls who didn’t play one single minute of their last GDA u15 game. Losing to XFP 0-5 and playing the same 11 girls the whole game is not developement.

Even the person entering game stats gave up on U15. They picked the first 11 players on both rosters and entered 80 minutes for each player. 5 goals for XFP which is probably correct but every one of the 5 goals scored by the first 5 names on the XFP roster? In order? And all 5 goals scored in first minute? Not sure who played or how many minutes but seems highly unlikely the actual game matches the report.
Did U14 play the last game? No report or score entered.

DA is great if you're a starter. After that its benefits greatly diminish. If you're not in the top 14 you're probably better off elsewhere (unless your only other option is a lousy club)

Some new kids showed up at the younger age group and they were already talking about bolting when they get to HS - its a dumb idea and causing a lot of turnover. The HS thing is a real problem unless your kid is going to a small private HS where they don't have a team.

This floundering in no man's land won't improve the game or players.
