Why do the GDA forums get so much attention? Because without negative propaganda from the ECNL drones, ECNL parents would realize that they are getting duped. Every anti-GDA comment just reinforces this. ECNL proclaims to be vastly superior but then waste so much time denigrating the GDA because there are no real ECNL advantages to talk about.

They are concerned with the quality of the returning players and what they’ve seen roster wise appears to be a work in progress. In spite of that they are staying because their kid is a star/full game player, and it’s too late to consider ECNL given those rosters are full. But yes, returning parents are concerned. Also expressed lots of disappointment over the fee increase. Estimates new fee structure will cost them 5-6k this year including travel. They can afford it and really don’t need free or almost free soccer. But once you had a year of soccer including travel for 2k, it’s hard to think about it almost tripling in a year.
They might still be waiting for parents to call them back. Parents might be trying to keep their options open and seeing if slots at PCU, Eastside or Crossfire C teams open up. Check back in a couple weeks.

Almost $5k per year plus parent travel could be $5k or more. That's getting up there.

It's better to spend 10K a year at my local club for everything. Jus Sayin. Don't question my decisions, it's my families money and my choice. I've got assurances from our unemployed team coach, it's all good.

              Too late to consider Ecnl????

              Huh?????

Teams participating in Ecnl are worse than some OYSA teams.

Seriously. Don't be fooled by what they lie and say. They are paying to fly to play other mediocre teams and when they do play teams nearby not in their suffering league they don't do well.

They literally flyed to do nothing last weekend.

They paid over 1k to sit in a hotel room...

Games cancelled and even if they weren't they were playing against teams that were mediocre.

Did the hotel have a nice pool?

Oh geez. Whoever wrote this is ridiculously stupid. I hope you get the help you need.

Then if ots a financial strain the parents should stay home.

That kid isn't going to ECNL because she can't make an ECNL team. NO other reason.

No lie, my daughters classmate plays for ECNL and HS JV2. ECNL does have "elite" talent. BTW, HS team is middle of the road and not a dominant team.

That’s ok. We still love them even though on thorns.

Be patient. I’m sure lists will be published when they fill out teams. Why do you care? Really none of your business if you aren’t going to join. The cost is not out of line compare to other programs.
