FYI, 2 PCU players were selected from the tryout and another was a player of interest. Another PCU player was already selected before the tryout.

Wake up call buddy! Has nothing to do with preferential treatment based on what club you play for. Stop making excuses for your child. Accept that he didn't make the team because he doesn't have what they are looking for. Not because he plays at PCU. Other PCU players made it!

Did I say that? No. I said that Copa players were not given special treatment as previously indicated.

That is an absolute farse.. It not just Copa boys who are players of interest. There were a couple boys in that category that happen to be Copa. There were also boys from other clubs who are players of intetest. And several Copa players who tried our and did not make it, nor are they players of interest.

Just because your son did not get a player of interest status, or make the team, doesn't mean
favor was given to Copa players. It means he was not talented enough.

Not PCU poster but Once again you get way too defensive- really just asked a simple question of whether or not non Copa kids got the same treatment and instead of just saying "yes kids of interest from multiple clubs got the invite to train" you instead go on the attack and put kids down. You need to stop, take a deep breath and count to 5 before you post. Just to be clear we said no to an offer before tryouts even began so my son does not fall into any of your boxes of someone scorned- sorry

So obviously all of the talk about the ex coach from ADF coaching TA and all the issues that ADF had with him was a bunch of BS if they decided to go play for him again. Lol

That is a jump to make that conclusion. The adf kids that made the team were always in his good graces that he and Ben promised opportunities too when he left and one of the kids is friends with billups jr so it's natural he went and like him does not technically or physically belong. Unfortunately for some the precedent has been established with how Timbers will run their organization and some very talented kids are going to lose out on some chances because of a checkbook and organization that chooses to turn a blind eye for the sake of a few benjamins in the grand scheme of things. Just the reality of the situation so no need to retort Timbers talking soccer guards

Not sure where you get your info from, but you are not correct. You are correct regarding about the one already selected, but that is it!

You are wrong. One from PCU was selected before tryouts and 2 were selected at tryouts, 1 was their gk. 1 is going to be a training player. Still going to play for a club DA, but going to train a couple of nights a week with the Timbers DA.

I think it's important for everyone to realize that by u16 only one or two of the big DA or little DA kids 2005 boys will even make the Academy team. I hope they all don't throw away high school soccer to sit on the bench at Timbers DA. You only get childhood once.

Remember, we're talking a tiny fraction of the youth soccer pool by this point--and almost certainly, a fraction who consider soccer to be one of their highest priorities in life, moreso than high school social life, etc. The vast majority of kids will never get close.

I think the person is an obsessed coach from another club. He/she attacks anything related to Timbers or Thorns.

Everyone has moved on to 2017/2018 except this character.

- The "beast incarnate" (remember this is a kid and while you may not like his style of play he can't even drive yet, so lay off!!) is red carded only for it to be rescinded on a technicality. Only for ADF dad to present video evidence of his "dirty" play.
- FCP wins State Cup
- ADF dad plans to protest, how'd that go btw?
- Ben B finally buys, I mean gets, his all star team. But for how long?
- DA tryouts go on, yes the world exists outside Big DA
- ADF gets dismantled? That's a question, not a statement
- We cross 133k views! Suck it 06 parents (DX crotch chip!)
- Presumably IFC/GPS, 4H, and ADF step into way too early favorite roles for winning the now third tier OYSA premier league state cup. Seriously it's now third tier. State cup means nothing.
- The crazy girl parents went even more crazy

Now what though? Should we start planning on picking apart Big DA results?
