- The "beast incarnate" (remember this is a kid and while you may not like his style of play he can't even drive yet, so lay off!!) is red carded only for it to be rescinded on a technicality. Only for ADF dad to present video evidence of his "dirty" play.
- FCP wins State Cup
- ADF dad plans to protest, how'd that go btw?
- Ben B finally buys, I mean gets, his all star team. But for how long?
- DA tryouts go on, yes the world exists outside Big DA
- ADF gets dismantled? That's a question, not a statement
- We cross 133k views! Suck it 06 parents (DX crotch chip!)
- Presumably IFC/GPS, 4H, and ADF step into way too early favorite roles for winning the now third tier OYSA premier league state cup. Seriously it's now third tier. State cup means nothing.
- The crazy girl parents went even more crazy
Now what though? Should we start planning on picking apart Big DA results? Maybe a summer BBQ where all the boys can play and the dads (and one crazy Westside mom) can have a last "Man" standing cave match for who has the best soccer playing son (my money is on WT mom knocking out FCP grandpa to win the title)?
I'll miss this craziness. Keep it tight, keep it real. Peace.

This is a serious question. Did your son try out and not make it?

2016- ADF is not a stand alone club. They are affiliated with LA Amistad.
Ben Billups, local millionaire with a DS of little to no talent is training with a coach from Brazil. Daddy Warbucks wants his DS to play high level soccer, even though talent wise, the son is rec level. Being a savvy business man, BB feels out clubs and realizes that ADF is ripe for hostile takeover..er, I mean an infusion of cash....um, I mean an investiment opportunity...how about this, the truth....
BB flies his coach from Brazil, and then brings his money, and his coach to ADF for the 2005 boys. BB finances the program and subsidizes the entire 2005 team. ADF starts off very inconsistently, and is throttled a few times, but shows some promise. They have a large roster and a lot of dis-satisfied parents and kids. Lo and behold, a revolution takes place. Kids and parents are not fans of BB's son's play on the field. A liability that could not be covered up. Coach is told that he can longer coach the 05's, which means he can no longer play BB's son, which means BB takes his collective fundraising ball (son, money and coach) and goes home.
However, BB is not to be deterred. He realizes that he has what it takes to make opportunities happen for his Son, despite the Son's lack of abilities. Sure enough, BB the Timbers to jump into bed with him, and creates a traveling team for the Generation Adidas Cup tournament in April. Private invites were issued to people identified by BB's coach, and others identified by the Timbers. Tryouts took place at Fano Creek and of course, only the best were selected....and BB's Son. The Portland Timber's U12 team manages to finish 3rd...or middle of the pack.
Now some background about this little field trip to Houston. The entire trip was free for the players. AND...remember how long it took to get State Cup schedules? Coincidentally enough, once the schedules were released, it was learned that the club teams for BB's travel team kids, all CONVENIENTLY had ZERO games that weekend. (If you ask a Timber's apologist they will tell you this was due to Easter.)
Finally, the Timbers DA have 2005 this year (and for awhile looked to be the only DA opportunity in town) the TA is going to play in Washington and have a chartered bus for every game. The Timber's and BB relationship still alive and well. BB's kid on TA, BB coach the 2005 TA coach. The rest to come...

Is this all about access to fields?

The Timbers Academy is a complete joke and scam!
You can only make a team if you are privately trained by one of their coaches.
No wonder 23 players declined spots this year

Good luck verifying his credentials. And don't assume he will address or improve any of the attitude/behavior problems on that roster. This could end very badly.
