Wow, as an ECNL parent you want to lob that at the thorns? Do you look in the mirror much? Or should I turn it back for you? "I think you just perfectly defined the typical ECNL parent. $8000 to do the same thing any $1500 team could do, maybe even less, and certainly with far worse coaching.

You could lob it back at the op but it's clearly not the same thing. You are basically getting what you pay for and that has become painfully obvious for this current thorns team.

Actually, a lot of the girls are thrilled with the training and the facilities. While the ECNL teams are packed four to a field, the Thorns have the entire field and facilities to use. And looking at NWCL results so far, I'm not sure the ECNL teams have any room to talk. Apparently some mediocre teams from Seattle are much better than last place teams in ECNL. Playing last place teams for $10,000 is sure a value.

Maybe the Thorns would be better if they were practicing with some good players. Being by themselves just seems to have made them worse (which is known as "better" in Timbers lingo).

Beating last place teams is giving the ECNL teams a false sense of where they stand. And those NWCL results, looking like a lot of 4th and 5th place finishes.

Might Onyx is behind the Thusc reserves. Maybe they should reverse the teams.

And losing to "B" and "C" teams in FWRL is giving the Thorns Academy a real sense of where they stand, or fall.

The b and c Seattle teams are in NCWL. Check out the standings before spouting more untruths. Sure goes to show you how the ECNL leadership got Oregon positioned in ECNL. A steady diet of last place teams who are worse than the mediocre NWCL teams. $10,000 worth of value there.

Who's packed four to a field? FCP has access to three turf fields and multiple grass fields.

FCP's U14 ECNL is in to the semi-finals (not sure about other teams) and we are not spending anywhere near 10k We might hit 5k if they win NWCL.

I get you are selling the Thorns academy but lets stick with facts.

Three fields with 8-10 teams all trying to practice at once. And grass fields eh? I bet those are reserved early and often.

And hurray, you are in the semis over rec league teams from Seattle.

And I smell too. But at least I am honest.

This thread cracks me up. Thorns suck. Oregon ECNL teams suck. All girls soccer in Oregon sucks I guess. Maybe everyone should quit and try volleyball. Just sayin'.

There more then a couple days in a week and they also go to Lincoln and UofP, so pull your head out.

As bad as you think NWCL is at U14, you are basically disparaging Oregon Soccer. FCSC came in second in their flight as did eastside. Granted neither team won the coveted OYSA fall league (Rouge Valley did only because FCSC was in OPL) But the Wa teams are solid at U14.

So what team is your dd on again?! Who has the great U14 team in the northwest that's so much better then the Oregon and Washington Teams?

Oh, that's right, your a timber troll. Who needs data when it's so much easier to make it up and repeat it over and over.
