As bad as you think NWCL is at U14, you are basically disparaging Oregon Soccer. FCSC came in second in their flight as did eastside. Granted neither team won the coveted OYSA fall league (Rouge Valley did only because FCSC was in OPL) But the Wa teams are solid at U14.

So what team is your dd on again?! Who has the great U14 team in the northwest that's so much better then the Oregon and Washington Teams?

Oh, that's right, your a timber troll. Who needs data when it's so much easier to make it up and repeat it over and over.
Yousa, hit a major nerve with you. I guess the truth hurts.

I wonder if the parents are as bad there?

um, not sure what truth bomb you dropped.

I have a dd at FC and they have a slew of fields.... Who is packed 8 on a field? CU? Eastside? BSC? Who?

This thread is getting off topic. It supposed to be how the Thorns won't need $3600 because they finished 4th in FWRL and are now playing in OYSA H.S. 'B' league.....

"No surf for you!" (say like the soup nazi.)

Not sure how posters comments are any worse than any of the other comments made on here...

This explains why you are so sensitive. But I like that in a woman.

I concur. Our FC pool always has an entire turf field to itself. And the turf's not rolled up in the parking lot either :)

Pool? How many teams in the pool?

Well, the ECNL teams have 22 players or so, plus there are the reserves, so if everyone is practicing together, that's probably 40 players. I guess by having fields spread out all over the city, the ECNL teams are avoiding having to share fields with all of the U11-U13 boys and girls teams along with all of their fellow ECNL teams.

So if everyone is there, and you are doing full-sided scrimmaging etc that is nearly 4 teams?...

Close. I'm sure the 18 that are sitting out and watching are enjoying themselves.

Depends. Does your DK's team do only full size scrimmaging every practice?

Remember ECNL is 4 days a week. Must clubs are twice a week plus some PT. So with FC having 3 turf fields at their disposal Occasionally Lincoln and U of P (less for need but for ease of location for out of area players and closer for coaches that coach there I would presume) I'm pretty sure they have enough space.

The question is how do other clubs manage? Especially in the winter, where turf time is more valuable / accessible compared to grass. BSC has the one turf field at OES. Vancouver has turf rolled up in their parking lot, East side has one field that's actually concrete painted green from their entire club. L.O. I guess has the two h.S. fields. CFC... just has those crappy grass fields. CU/United and Westide all must fight for time at THPRD?

FC looks to be in pretty good shape compared to most clubs.

Who cares about fields that no one has lets talking about how the thorns won't need $3600 because all they are doing was a couple of matches in FWRL (knocked out) and OYSA H.S. .... yawn.... league.

ET uses high school fields too. They are heavily leveraged with Barlow and Gresham and occasionally Sandy.

If the ECNL teams are practicing 4 times a week, then that takes away that excuse for performing so poorly agaist RCL division 2 teams in NWCL.
