My kids have played a wide array of sports. My observation is that all youth sports require lots of travel when you get to the higher levels. One of my sons played for a B soccer team and I have to admit between the cost and the travel I was really happy when he finally threw in the towel and took up golf!

Portland City United (now TA)
Southside SC (now Crossfire Oregon)
Tualatin Hills United SC
Westside Metros (now TA)
What is it about OYSA now that is different from what was so bad that it caused EST, WST and PCU to leave in the first place. If it was really travel, and OYSA rules (the 8 v. 8 dispute) and transfer policies those are all back. Or, we could all just accept it for what it is: business combined with a distinct lack of commitment by EST,WST and PCU to carry on what they started. So for the second time in 3 years they were willing to cause great disruption to the Oregon soccer community. What will they do next? Whatever it is, follow the money because that's the only argument they have left.

OSSA did not merge with WST and is not a TA club. OSSA is not OSSA Crossfire.
PCU is not a TA... yet anyway.
