Last year must have been your first year with WS. You keep talking about the coach not coaching his own son. Well...JB has coached his own sons' teams and could so so again. Cony has coached his own son's team, and so have many others. Ditto for coaches at other clubs. It is what it is. Not true that JB is taking the team this year because of parents threatening to leave. For every player leaving tryouts another two or three appear. How many at tryouts last night? Always new talent at clubs' age groups that win titles. In fact, expect changes to your team's line up.

Some coaches can coach their own kids while most can't. Jimmy is one who can which is the reason he won't be.

Well his team still won state championship WITH him coaching his son's team. He also coached his older son before and look how successful that experience turned out to be for his son. You simply need to chill bro.

We're all chilled now that he's been replaced. If the parents weren't unhappy he'd still be coaching them. You must not have been at the parent meeting.

If you think that your parents control the team then you are in for a rude awakening in the years to come. Especially come the high school and college years. Your sons will play on different coaches, different styles. If they can adapt they will do well. If their parents can't adapt, then the kids could have problems later down the road.

How many coaches has this team had since some of them were U9s, U10s? WST traditionally changes up coaches after one or two years, and really around U13, U14 year. It happens due to reasons beyond parents not happy with a coach's style.

From what I could tell the team was successful so the coach did his job. The fact that he played his son is what got your goat. What if JB or another coach has a son on the team in the future and they get a lot of playing time?

I hear what you're saying and agree with some of it, but you'd behave to admit there was a huge lack of objectivity at LM.

Reality check. No relationship whatsoever but obviously hit a nerve with you. Best of luck in the years to come. You'll need it if you can let go of your control issue.

I'm assuming that LM means left mid? I don't know the team but the points made about youth players' transitions through different coaches is spot on.

Pinched you again! When you're wrong you just can't accept the truth. Not a problem. Thanks for the laugh.

Thanks Mrs. Velasco! Now please attend to your son. He's struggling in math.

You are wasting so much energy on a Mrs who is not the poster. I am. Again, I cannot wait to hear how your involvement affects your son. If he has the talent and mindset to start then JB will let it happen. Based on the tryouts others could earn that spot.
