How many teams from each conference qualify for playoffs? And what is the seeding for the playoffs? There is probably a link out there and I am just not smart enough to find it. Thanks in advance.

Girls Metro
So quiet about the Girls Metro league? Is it that there is simply nothing to write about?

I have witnessed multiple red card offenses in games that would be no-brainer sendings-off in club soccer that get off scot free without even a whistle in high school. Several have resulted in top players being sidelined for multiple games with injuries.
High school rosters aren't nearly as deep as clubs are. You lose 3-4 top players especially come playoff time and you are sunk.

Towards end of game our player gets a break away ready to shoot from in the box- taken out from behind & seriously injured. No whistle & ref argues that it was a 50-50 ball. It was physically impossible for the defender to have even touched the ball.

Send the film to OSAA and the league

Do not count Sunset out of contention based on their season record, or Westview, Southridge or Beaverton for that matter. Jesuit is plagued with injuries so they are a big ? mark. They haven't had a healthy 11 starters all year. Aloha can and will win a play-in game.
I think Metro League will advance the most teams to the 2nd round of state. Anyone have a stronger league to debate?

I don't think any of the TRL teams are complete enough to win the title but the top 5 in TRL are competitive with any team in the state.

Like the Metro, TRL teams are made almost entirely of club players and leads to a deep league. The OSAA rankings will determine seeding after the play in round and the TRL has 5 teams currently ranked in the top 12. This will give them more favorable match ups for the 1st round than the Metro league will have.

Not sure why we don't hear anything about Sunset on here anymore? Problems???
Seems this year has been a struggle for many in metro, boys and girls.
Really, I am just wishing all of the teams luck going into this ugly weather and playoffs with no injuries...
