What are you talking about? Apparently it was a great plan, otherwise Clackamas's coach wouldn't have adopted it. Right? Obviously he thought he had a better chance of winning if he stacked the 18, than if he didn't.

I personally think that Lakeridge and Clackamas are the two best teams in State. I'm sure others think that Grant and Thurston are the two best teams. So sorry that ineptitude keeps us from answering these questions

If you're going to put that plan into place for all your games then you should know how to counter it if it is done to you. Ben couldn't figure it out. All he knows is pack the box and that doesn't work when you find yourself behind.

Funny thing is, my daughter has played for Ben for 3 years at Sunset, I've been to every game and the game against Tualatin was the first time I have ever seen him use a totally defensive set like that. It is not a set they have ever practiced. So, you either are making assumptions, don't know enough to recognize the set or maybe have/had a dd who played for him in club.

Yep, dd played for him in club soccer. It was all about defense and packing in the box and hoping to score on a long ball to the forward.
