You call that "nothing really detrimental"???? Ha Ha Ha! Hopefully you will get better ref's at Lakeridge and won't be able to pull that stunt.
One players FLOP is another REFEREE'S foul. PK -GOAL-WIN-NEXT. Hard to call it a flop when theres contact. I don't think players "flop" or are taught how to "flop".

Sunset flops in the box all the time. I watched it last year vs Lakeridge. If Sunset was so good they would have scored in spite of the Referees!

I think they employed the same technic as Sunset did against Tualatin where they pulled all the mids and forwards into the 18 yard line. Didn't one of the Clackamas players get a red card?

Yes, Clackamas was playing with only 10.

!?! And they still won? That's very very rare. With 11 what would the margin have been? 3 goals?

Can anyone provide a summary of the Lakeridge v. Tigard game?

They played with 11 the entire game. From what I was told once the red card was given that was when the Clack coach pulled the entire team to below the 20yd line to try and stop the Sunset offense.

I am hoping you are being sarcastic as no red card could be given for that. And they didn't try to stop the Sunset offense, they STOPPED the Sunset offense. Sounds like that game was just like the Sunset-Tualatin game where Sunset packed the 18 and hoped for the best. Looks like Ben got what was coming to him. He knows how to pack the box but doesn't know how to adjust when a team does it to him.

Lakeridge seen to be in more winfi of the game. Mostly a midfield game. Each team had chances. Lakeridge scored first Tigard tied up, Lakeridge scored with couple min left. All goals in second half.

So, was there or was there not a red card issued to a Clackamas player?

I guess the Clackamas coach was watching the Sunset/Tualatin game and saw how well that tactic worked. Sounds like Sunset got a taste of their own medicine! Way to go Clackamas!

A little testy this morning there big fella? It's ok, Clack won't get by Lakeridge and you can get back to your normal routine of driving your dd to watch the playoff games this time of year.

Looks like both coaches did what they needed to get past a worthy opponent. Hats off to both.

Talk about testy............ I don't even have a child in the play-offs at all. But at least the Clackamas parents get to watch their child in one extra play-off game. Have fun driving your dd to the Clackamas-Lakeridge game. You can talk about how Ben's plan came back to kick him in the butt.
