Since this subject seems to have taken over two other threads, it seems appropriate to have it's own section.
Why do a select few parents feel the need to tout their children/teammates publicly as being the "best in the state" or one of the best strikers on the field? Why must we list the girls (age groups and clubs) that "should" have made the team? What purpose is there for saying that there are only 10 girls on the list that should be there and the others are sub-par? Even if the young ladies who made the team don't read these posts, some of the parents might - how do you think that makes them feel? What I hear are a select group of parents saying how deserving their daughters are. What about the other 68 girls? I think some of you need to get a grip and stop devaluing the girls on the list and singing the praises of "the select few".
