When Orlando does get MLS, will the FKk parents let their kids cheer for the pro team?

The BEST player just got recalled by the rightful owners of his contract. KC loaned 4 True highly paid professionals to OC and now two of them are gone. Team has not won a game since their recall to KC.

IF OC players could play MLS soccer today what are they waiting for. To get older. A professional soccer player maybe has 5-6 years of potential playing at the highest level. Why wait another 2 years for MLS in Orlando.

Most America's are clueless. They want to believe. OC really is a glorified amateur team with exceptional marketing around it. The Fluff if full and thick and most buy tones of it.

I don't think anyone at FKK is jealous of OC. What no one at OC understands is that the girls who left will not be coming back - no matter what lies are made up to discredit a new club and the players supporting it. ECNL is a wonderful program, but not worth the baggage that accompanies it from OC.
That being said, I think you should check twice which club is struggling for players. Even after paying all expenses and recruiting from all over the state, OC is still struggling to find enough players (or from what I am told, "good players") to fill the ECNL teams.

The high school ages have an interesting dynamic: The ECNL teams that followed FKK are intact and not struggling for #'s, the OCYS teams will have plenty too. Didn't all ECNL teams, except the 14's, have near perfect compliance going to FKK? Only the rising 17 girls lack a "B" team.
On the boy's side every other year age group split: Purple and White rising 18's followed their coaches to FKK, while rising 17's stayed with Paul Shaw at OCYS, looks like the rising 16's followed FKK and so on...
Consequently the rising U-17 Kraze and Krush premier is less numerous. OCYS has ECNL, Purple, and more. FC America kept their teams at this age but lost the rising 18's that followed Alan H.
Doesn't look like a struggle yet, but it was a disappointment for both FKK and OCYS over the ECNL: FKK teams didn't get to retain ECNL status and OCYS lost good teams/players.

In this case, adults and parents of the girls chose to deny the girls the opportunity of "ECNL is a wonderful program" based on these adults' and parents' personal agendas and petty politics, out to "prove a point" and thinking they could/would destroy a club (or at least its ECNL program). Didn't really matter for the departing older girls' families "ring leaders" who already had college commitments, but while threatening to leave (thinking they could leverage their mutiny into forcing the club into "doing it their way" - which didn't work), they suckered the younger ones (for whom ECNL is more relatively important) into following them like lemmings over a cliff.

It's not the end of the world. Progress is not always straight-line linear. Sometimes one has to "cut one's losses", "take one step back to then take 2 steps forward".

They're gone...oh, well golly gee whiz good for them...everybody knows it...no new news there (pointless to regurgitate it as if each time repeating it ad nauseum makes it more impactful) ...time to move forward.

I see Orlando city working together with everyone but those at fkk. I don't believe it is Orlando city with the issues but fkk people who are the issue. Regardless of lack of perfection, they seem to get along with rush, and fca. Even though they compete they respect each other on some level apparently. I happily stay at Orlando city and look forward to a better year.

Does any one sit back and think that all this turmoil is so unnessary!!!! I look forward to a great year at OC, won't miss the people that left because I don't like being around negative people. The ones I knew were always negative and I got tired of hearing about their issues when I thought most were easily fixable. It was too much cooperation needed and they were unwilling to compromise to make it work.

Folks, this is not worth the anger and certainly not the back and forth for the past two months. In a perfect soccer world, Orlando would have one ECNL program and the best players would play. They thought they had that the first year by acquiring CFK and bringing their girls teams on board. TO not one person's surprise, those teams went to ECNL nearly to the player. And how did they do? This amazing collection of girls teams that have played together for years?

So I ask you, how is that a collection of the best talent in Central Florida? FCA had some very good girls teams that did very well in tournament and state cup play. Are you going to tell me not one of those girls would have made the ECNL team? not one? I think AH answered that when several of the girls followed him to OCYS. What about Rush? They have had State Cup champions and finalist in the past. Not one of those worthy of a starting slot on an ECNL team? This year will be a much better representation of talent from the Central Florida area. Girls came to try-outs from FCA, Rush, SCU as well as other clubs around Central Florida. This is not the CFK/FSA pool of talent from 2012-13. Time is on the side of OC. In three-years, HM will be at another club and most of the top talent will be at ECNL. Most important, most of the FKKrazies will have graduated from high school and their parents will be gone from youth soccer.

All we can do is try and set an example of how to do it right. Come together and support the girls. The game is about them!
